Crown Green Bowling at Stamford Park

Stamford Park is home to a Crown Green bowling lawn, located adjacent to Stamford Park Road. It is also home to the Hale Moss Crown Green Bowling Club. The green is open each year from the end of March to approximately the end of September.

During the playing season, Hale Moss currently participates in the FRIDAY afternoon Timperley District Veterans League (male and female mixed team, 55s and over) and the WEDNESDAY afternoon Altrincham Ladies League (no age restrictions). Games are played home and away. Social bowling is also arranged from time to time, normally on a Sunday afternoon, when everyone is welcome.

Whether experienced or otherwise, the club is always keen to welcome new members. Help is always at hand to encourage new players to the game.
